Lubird Announces Lubits.com, Welcomes OnePC.NET to its Family of Websites
VANCOUVER, British Columbia—March 12, 2005—Lubird Future Media, Inc. today announced the development of Lubits.com, an online consumer electronic information and comparison resource, and the acquisition of OnePC.NET, an established website with useful articles and reviews of computer and computer-related products. These two websites will lay the foundation for Lubird’s family of informative websites.
"Our commitment to Lubits.com and OnePC.NET shows that, while our core business is to develop manageable website management solutions, we recognize the importance of information on the Internet," said Kelly Lu, CEO of Lubird Future Media, Inc. "The information in these websites will be invaluable to end-users of the high-tech industry."
Lubits.com, set to launch in spring of 2005, will provide visitors with an abundance of information on an extensive selection of computer and consumer electronic products. Visitors can expect to find specifications and basic information for each product, as well as links to a wide selection of resources from all over the Internet. Furthermore, users will be able to comment on products, write their own reviews on products, and create “BuyLists,” which will greatly improve their purchase decisions by taking advantage of the opinions of their friends and the Lubits.com community.
OnePC.NET, launched in 2000, has established itself as a trustful source of information for computer enthusiasts. Visitors can find an abundance of articles, editorials, and product reviews geared towards those who are knowledgeable about computers. OnePC.NET attracts thousands of visitors a day and has worked with companies like Microsoft, Intel, and HP.
